Kitchens

Bright Family Hub

Our client wanted a modern kitchen while remaining true to the architectural era of their 100 year old home. Building an addition wasn’t an option with the original stone walls and slate roof, so we created from within instead. Reorienting the kitchen layout, we transformed the space while staying in the existing footprint of the home. Adding a wall of windows brought a panoramic view, long linear countertop, and abundant natural light.

We replicated the kitchen archway to fit in with the rest of the house, designed custom cabinetry reminiscent of the 1920’a style and added a mixture of finishes, with a chrome faucet, chrome cabinetry knobs, antique brass lights and stainless steel appliances. The finished product blends old and new, culminating in an inviting and open space, ready for cooking and entertaining.
